What to bring:

• A chair and a table if you’ve got a tree you want to work on

• Just a chair if you’d rather hang out and enjoy the good company

• A tree or two for working on or sharing during show and tell

Bonsai Tips for August:

• Keep up your spraying for pests and disease

• Stick to your fertilizing schedule

• Early August is your last chance to prune new growth on larch, spruce, cedar, and juniper

• Start root-building fertilizer in late August

• Begin removing old pine needles around late August to early September
