• Bring the results of your first year’s achievement and discuss future plans
• If you like, sketch out where you think this tree will be in 5 years
• There will be a prize for the most inventive and transformative works created
This is gonna be a lot of fun folks. As an initiative, this will be great to follow up on in future years and see where all of these specimens have gone. we are looking forward to seeing what everyone accomplishes, and how we all pull together to offer advice and help to newer members with options for their bonsai. Also, can’t wait to see what folks have done to their nursery stock this past summer.
• Swap and Sell
Bring bonsai-related items to sell or swap. Our club inventory of pots, tools and books will be on sale.
• Overwintering Bonsai Trees:
Aaron will reprise his video showing how he prepares his overing winter area for his bonsai. Sky will present a slide show covering the basics on overwintering zone 3 trees, temperate trees and tropical trees, followed by a roundtable discussion.
• Fall Dig Update
Our fall dig is around the corner—Saturday, October 12. Aaron will lead the dig. Watch for details on time and muster point by email.
