FEATURE EVENT:

IF IT'S FEBRUARY, IT'S TIME TO VISIT A BONSAI GARDEN IN A FARAWAY PLACE:

Embark on a virtual voyage to the enchanting bonsai garden in Jakarta, Indonesia, where the vibrant world of miniature masterpieces awaits you! Join us for an exclusive bonsai garden tour hosted by the renowned Budi Sulistyo, a true maestro of bonsai artistry.

Born in the picturesque Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia, in 1952, Budi Sulistyo began his bonsai journey in 1976, blooming into one of the pioneering figures in bonsai and suiseki in his homeland. With a career adorned with accolades, he has graced television screens for nearly a decade, captivating audiences with his bonsai expertise. Budi’s international acclaim took flight in 1991 at ASPAC 1 in Bali, marking the start of his globe-trotting adventures to share the magic of bonsai in countries like China, Taiwan, the Philippines, India, Australia, Africa, Europe, USA, and many more.

A prolific author, Budi Sulistyo has penned three bonsai books in Indonesian and the masterpiece, “Tropical Bonsai Gallery,” in English. His bonsai creations have garnered recognition from esteemed organizations such as the Nippon Bonsai Association and WBFF. As the Director of International Affairs of The Indonesian Bonsai Society, Budi’s influence extends globally.

Now, picture this: a central courtyard adorned with lush plantings, cascading waterfalls, and tranquil ponds. Ascend to a second-story terrace boasting an array of exceptional tropical bonsai, and continue to a third-story rooftop terrace with a meditation space surrounded by even more bonsai masterpieces. Budi Sulistyo’s garden is a living testament to the artistry and harmony of bonsai.

But beyond his remarkable achievements, Budi Sulistyo is a gentle soul, passionate about sharing his bonsai and suiseki wisdom with fellow enthusiasts. With a heartwarming spirit, he has contributed numerous articles to the BCI Magazine, offering insights into his styled trees, major exhibits, demonstrations, and conventions.

Escape the winter blues in Winnipeg and treat yourself to a tropical retreat as we transport you to Jakarta for an unforgettable experience. It’s time to relieve that cabin fever and bask in the joy of bonsai brilliance with Budi Sulistyo!
