Chapters include Rootage, Trunks, Branches, Apex, Styling, Collecting Techniques, Indigenous Trees in Other Countries, Trees to Study, Styling Hints from Sumi-e Paintings, Changing Wardrobes Through Inarching, Shohin Bonsai, Containers, Displaying, Complimentary Plants, Suiseki - Viewing Stones, and California Juniper. Like the first volume, this one too is profusely illustrated with photos and diagrams. The two volumes together provide a veritable encyclopedia of bonsai techniques.
