Zone 3 Care Guide
In Zone 3, successful bonsai begins with understanding the seasons. With long winters and a short growing period, timing is everything—knowing what to do, and when to do it, is the foundation of healthy, refined trees.
This guide is built around Seasonal Care, helping you align your work with the natural rhythms of your trees. From there, you can explore tree categories, daily care practices, and preparation for display, all connected by a clear, climate-aware approach.
Club Library
- Bonsai Winnipeg boasts a comprehensive library filled with books, magazines, and videos focused on bonsai art, techniques, history, and beyond. Explore the library and reserve your choices. Our librarian will ensure the reserved items are available and will accept returns at every general meeting.
