Festa di Natale

We’re planning something special for our Bonsai Winnipeg Festa di Natale—an Italian-inspired evening to celebrate the friendships, camaraderie and shared passion for bonsai that make our club special.

Our plans currently include

  • A delicious Italian buffet dinner served by catering staff.
  • A cash bar and plenty of time to relax and socialize
  • Raffle and door prizes
  • Recognition of members who have contributed to our club

  • Signature pastry presentation
  • Non-alcoholic beverages

(Taxes, labour and gratuities are included in the ticket price.)


Door Prizes

Dinner ticked holders will be given tickets for the draw of three door prizes:

• A painting of Mount Fuji donated by Kathy Gutheil

• A beautiful fused-glass garden flower spike, created by Brandon artist Lorette Williamson, paired with delicious honey from Wendell Estates, whose apiaries include one located on Pam's farm.

• A Ryga brand Ashinaga Shear donated by Bonsai Winnipeg

Raffle

Our raffle offers a special opportunity for bonsai lovers! Denis Girardin created a larch forest planting at a recent workshop using very old larch specimens, while Quang Le has spent three years styling a Fat Albert spruce, recently potted and ready for its next stage. Both trees are poised to begin their journey of refinement in the hands of two lucky winners.

Our caterer can provide alternatives for those with dietary restrictions. Please email Pam with your requirements, and she will confirm what options are available.



Indoor Bonsai Virtual Meeting

For those who can’t attend in person, we’re also planning a Zoom meeting on the weekend of December 12 or 13 featuring a discussion about indoor bonsai. Stay tuned for details.

Tickets

Dinner: $62.04 per person. Credit Card payment preferred, as this means less manual work for Lori.

If you would prefer to pay by cash, cheque or e-transfer, please contact Lori, our club treasurer.


Raffle: $20 for three tickets

Raffle tickets will be available at the event. Cash and e-transfers will be accepted.

Credit Card payment preferred, as this means less manual work for Lori. Credit card payments are automatically assigned to a label which will create a list of participants we can manage efficiently.
