What to bring.
Gardening gloves: Gardening gloves for bonsai work should offer a close, snug fit with a thin yet durable material—like nitrile-coated fabric or synthetic leather—that protects hands from sap, needles, and abrasions while maintaining maximum fingertip sensitivity and dexterity for delicate tasks like wiring, fine pruning, and cleaning needles on species like Colorado Blue Spruce.
Note-taking materials: Optional. The Bonsai Pocket Guide will contain most of the information presented.
