Bonsai Workshop – May 31 & June 1
Location: Plant Sciences, University of Manitoba
Time: 9 AM to 5 PM
Skip the lecture — dive straight into the fun! This is a hands-on workshop without a formal presentation at the start. No sitting quietly while someone else talks — just two full days of working on your own trees in a relaxed, collaborative setting.
The theme is Work, Watch, Ask, Learn — a chance to refine your skills, share techniques, and get feedback from fellow bonsai enthusiasts.
Whether you’re prepping trees for the upcoming WAG exhibit, repotting specimens from previous ITGB courses, or continuing work on your Nursery Stock Challenge trees, this is the perfect time to focus and grow.
Cost: $10 for each day. (covers coffee, beverages and donuts)
